Autostrada (Highway) A1- Exit "Firenze Sud". Once went out from the highway turn right following signs for Bagno a Ripoli-Pontassieve, go ahead for 11 km then turn right towards Rosano, go ahead following signs San Donato-Torri-Volognano, then follow sign for San Donato Volognano, after 4 km you have the Castle of Volognano on your left. Go ahead for approx. 1,2 km and take the second turn on the left following the sign POGGIO DI TORRI (the road climb a little), go ahead for 1 km and you will see some red mail boxes on your left, turn right passing through 2 blocks of houses (do not take the little road towards Chiara e Lorenzo), then the road becomes unterred follow it down and round to the left (keep the vineyards on your left), after 1,2 km approx. you will see a big house with cypresses surrounded by a big wall, go ahead passing through the cipresses row(leaving the house on your right), and after few meters follow the left you see another house and it ends at the Favilletta

Autostrada (Highway) A1- Exit Incisa Valdarno. Follow signs for S.Clemente-Rignano sull'Arno-Pian dell'Isola. Once passed Pian dell'isola turn left towards the center of Rignano sull'Arno, go ahead following signs for Rosano - Bombone - Torri (before arriving at Bombone, contiunue straight, don't go right towards il Bombone). From Pisa Airport:
After exiting the airport follow the blue signs for "Firenze" (Florence). Ignore the green autostrada sign for Firenze. Continue along this highway for approximately 70 km where you will follow a motorway sign "A1-Roma" and take the exit Firenze Sud. Connections: train and bus (to stay without a car):
Stay without a car is not the most comfortable solution, but possible!
In the village of Torri you can find a grocery store that sells just about everything and also serves lunch at noon. We also have hybrid bikes (max 4), to move in the country roads and reach the nearest villages
TRAINS: in the stations of Pontassieve and Rignano sull'Arno (both about 5 km away) there are many connections to Florence central station and also to Arezzo and Sienna.
BUS: In the village of Torri (1 km away), are the SITA bus lines (5-6 trips a day, especially in the morning) leading to the center of Florence, while the company Alterini, make transfers to Pontassieve or Rignano sull'Arno train station.

• How far: Florence about 20 Kms, Siena about 80 Kms, Pisa about 100 Kms, Arezzo about 60 Kms; • Torri (1km): there is a grocery store (lunch served every day, dinner only sunday evening), Bus stop for Pontassieve or Florence • Pontassieve (5km): you'll find Supermaket, stores, Pizzerias, Restaurants, Banks, Railroad station • Leccio-Rignano sull'Arno-Pian dell'isola: there are many outlets (Prada, Gucci-Cahnel, etc).
